IHSW - February 2013

For more information on what the IHSW is all about, give the button in my sidebar a clicky :)

Well I had another successful IHSW and worked on my ancient Lavender and Lace WIP, Angel of Summer. I haven't worked on a big project in ages and was struggling holding my frame after a while so I decided to give 2 handed stitching a try and found I got the hang of it pretty quickly! I can't believe how much faster I can stitch this way and wish I'd tried it ages ago :)

Here's Angel of Summer as she was on Friday:

And here she is on Sunday night:

I'm really pleased with my progress on this and thoroughly enjoyed working on her, I didn't want to put her away again so soon but I wanted to get some stitches in on some other old projects before my next WIPocalypse update!

I hope you all had a good IHSW, I'm looking forward to reading your updates :)

Wow!! Great progress! I have so many L&L patterns in my stash, but haven't managed to start a single one yet. This gives me some new motivation to make sure one gets on 'The List' though. So pretty :)

I two-handed stitch too, it's so much quicker and less painful on one arm - now I just need a floor stand so I dont' have to balance the frame on my leg/chin!

I didnt use a floor stand either, i had the frame kind of balanced on my knees and chest! :-D
