Sunday Stitchy Update!

Hi all, I've got a lot of stitching done over the weekend and finally finished my dragon, hooray!

I've not framed it or anything yet, I think it will just go into the drawer of doom for a while to be forgotten about but at least it's one off the list :)

I've also stitched up February's part of the Song of the Weather SAL hosted by Mabel over at Mabel Figworthy's Fancies. This month was the first bit of cutting and also two new stitches to me, dove's eye and beaded edging. Mabel's charts and instructions are so easy to follow I didn't have any trouble and got this stitched up this morning.

So a very productive weekend! To celebrate finishing the dragon I made a start on the Woodland Sampler SAL by the Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery, I'll share a picture when I do my next update as I haven't stitched enough yet for it to be worth a photo.

I hope everyone else is having as good a stitchy weekend as I am! x

Congrats on your HUGE finish! The dragon looks amazing!!!! Hopefully you can get it framed and up on the wall shortly. It's a shame to hide such a piece away in a drawer.

Your little hardanger piece is really cute too. Is the SAL to teach you the different hardanger stitches?
