WIPocalypse - February 2013

Well I think I've done reasonably well this month, I've worked on 2 old projects and started a new one! I don't think I've ever done so much stitching as I have these last few months.

First up I worked on Lavender and Lace's Angel of Summer. I posted my progress on this one recently but here it is again!

Next I worked on an old HAED SAL piece, Blue Rose Fairy

before:

after:

This one is giving me some trouble, I've decided for future HAEDs I'm going to try tent stitching as in the confetti heavy areas it becomes really difficult to get my needle through the fabric but I'm going to persevere with this and look on it as a learning experience.

I was also very naughty and joined another SAL, Woodland Sampler SAL by Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery

I'm really pleased with my progress this month and looking forward to seeing everyone else's! :D

You've made excellent progress this month! I can't believe how much you got done on the HAED alone! It's definitely been a successful month for you. :)

you have done so much! The threads hanging down from the HAED piece - are they attached or is your thread holding card just at the bottomof the stitching?

I use the parking method for HAEDs and stitch in 10x10 blocks so i just "park" the threads in the next block down rather than stopping and starting all the time so they are attached :-)

I have yet to start my first HAED since I'm so intimidated by them. All of your pieces are looking great!
