WIPocalypse - June 2013

Wow, March was my last WIPocalypse update, I didn't realise it had been that long!

My stitchy bug went AWOL sometime in April but it has been visiting every now and again and I think it's now back to stay for a little while.

I do have some updates since my last post, Cottage teacosy is now finished (apart from the finishing):

Psyduck and Slowpoke are also finished!

I've made progress on the Lizzie Kate Sampler, from this:

to this:

and even done a bit of HAED stitching, finally making a proper start on Hrmpf!:

I need to sort my tension out as you can see, it's a little lumpy!

I also stitched up a card and gift for father's day which I really enjoyed :)

And did April's part of the Song of the Weather SAL:

So that's quite an update, I guess I've done more than I thought :) Looking forward to catching up with all your blogs, it's been quite a while!

Wonderful to have you back :) Great progress, you've been busy! I admire your courage in attempting an HAED, LOL, Mr. Grumpy Owl is really cute! So are your Father's Day stitches, especially Darth Vader. Your Hardanger piece is also really gorgeous, that's something I've always wanted to try ;)

You've made great stitchy progress since last time! The tea cozy is so pretty. Your L*K Mystery Sampler looks wonderful and gives me inspiration to stitch a little bit more on mine too. I love that bookmark!

I found your blog from the WIPocalypse post on Measi's blog.

@Aurelia Eglantine

Thanks Aurelia, I was almost new to Hardanger going into the SAL and I'm really enjoying it. If you're wanting to try it then www.mabelfigworthy.co.uk has lovely designs and her instructions are amazing, even I can follow them :P

@Kitten

Thanks Kitten, I love Lizzie Kate stuff, I found the cottage a pain to stitch but I know my nan will love it so it's worth it! :)

@SoCal Debbie

Hi Debbie, thanks for your comment, my dad had a good laugh about the bookmark and it was so quick to stitch, really hoping to get my sampler finished by this halloween :)

You know when my stitching bug wanders off you still get more done than when my bug is just feeling a little peeky. :)

Congrats on the finishes and the progress.
