Blog makeover and a new pattern!

Hi all! I see a few months have gone by again without me posting, I will try and improve on that and thanks for sticking with me through the quiet times :)

Well as you've probably noticed the blog has had a bit of a makeover. I wanted to design a proper logo and theme that I can use on all my stuff to try and make things look a bit nicer, I'm very pleased with how it turned out, it's my first attempt at designing something like this using software.

I also want to get back to designing and revitalising my poor old Etsy shop, I have plenty of ideas floating around but time is still an issue at the moment with work being so busy. Still, I managed to get one pattern charted up and stitched and listed on the shop, a trio of teeny cute skulls in time for halloween!

Here's the pic:

The pattern only uses 2 colours but each skull is done in a different technique to make it a bit interesting, we have cross stitch, satin stitch and blackwork.

I've also been busy working on other stitching including my L*K halloween sampler which I'm determined to have finished in the next couple of weeks! I'm on the final part now and have ordered some cute fabric to back it with as I'm going to finish it as a hanging rather than framing it, I will post pics when the stitching is finished.

[Whoops, typos galore!] Yay!!! So glad you're back again, I feel as happy as your cute little floss bobbins look ;) Love the new design, very bright and colourful and Etsy-cute friendly :) The skulls have great texture and are very spooky!
